It is VERY important that you wait 24-48 hours before exposing your skin to the sun, tanning beds or infrared lamps!! (exfoliated skin is extremely sensitive to UV) To avoid irritation, keep the skin clean and free of harsh lotions or products for 24-48 hrs. Do not exercise immediately following treatment!! NO SAUNAS, NO JACUZZIS, NO POOLS, NO SEX!!! The next morning after your sugaring you may return to every day activities.
Slight pinking of the skin is normal and should disappear within a few hours. To avoid irritation, keep the skin clean and avoid perfume soaps, deodorant or products with chemical irritants for 24 hours.(for underarms, you can wipe them with a toner throughout the day to help with odor)
EXFOLIATE! This is so important!! You will want to use a exfoliating mitt. Wet and scrub away! Make sure you really scrub yes the mitts are abrasive but I promise over time your skin does get used to it! If you suffer with ingrown hairs this is for you!! exfoliating should become your new best friend!! Some other things to remember if you suffer with ingrowns is LACE IS'NT OUR FRIEND. NEVER HAVE SEX AFTER YOU EXFOLIATE! Ideally you should exfoliate 3-5x a week try not to do it back to back (over exfoliating can cause irritation)
